The 2016 NRPA Annual Conference will be filled with over 7,000 park and recreation professionals coming together for education, networking and fun. Join your fellow conference attendees at the NRPA Opening Reception at the St. Louis Zoo. This exciting reception will give you a chance to experience the St. Louis Zoo, enjoy live music and network with fellow park and recreation professionals.

Take a stroll in the exhibit hall.

The industry’s largest exhibit hall is a great way to see what kind of products and services are available in the market. You’ll find anything from recreation software to playground sets. “One event my team always looks forward to is the opening of the exhibit hall. Watching thousands of industry professionals get excited over new products and services is a great thing to watch,” said Jesse Parker, Sales Manager at Maximum Solutions.  The Exhibit Hall is open practically all day on Thursday and Friday, giving you plenty of time to explore the hundreds of booths waiting to show you their products. Stick around after the Exhibit Hall ends on Thursday and enjoy an Exhibitor Hosted Happy Hour. You’ll get to test new products and enjoy food and beverages with thousands of other park and recreation professionals.

Experience St. Louis.

NRPA offers many off-site institutes, giving you the opportunity to sight-see St. Louis with your peers and colleagues. These tours will give you a close look at the many parks that St. Louis has to offer. You can also explore St. Louis on your own! Take a ride up the St. Louis Arch or go to the Missouri Botanical Gardens. Take in the beautiful scenery by registering for the 5K Fun Run and Walk along the downtown St. Louis Riverfront.
